Mariana Oushiro

Mariana Oushiro

Mariana Oushiro’s pictorial language is deeply rooted in the choreography of movement and guided by her profound connection to the subconscious. Her gestural marks are bold and intimate, while the flow of each brushstroke reveals an approach to line, color, and composition that is at once deliberate and intuitive

Mariana draws inspiration from the elements of nature and her belief in a higher natural order. In her paintings, she channels impressions of Brazil’s rural landscapes, the sensation of floating on water, sacred geometries, architecture, and scientific forms. Her family heritage, rooted in both Japan and Brazil, informs her philosophical and aesthetic vision, shaping the development of her artistic language into a distinctive idiom of abstraction.
